The Saguaro, Palm Springs

This was my second time back to The Saguaro, and as expected, it did not disappoint. In fact, it’s quickly becoming our go-to spot in Palm Springs to recommend to friends & to stay at ourselves.

I love all of the ‘psychedelic’ vibes with the canary yellow umbrellas poolside, multi-colored hotel room doors (and walls), and tastefully playful music on the weekends.

This place sort of checks all the boxes on my hotel wishlist.

It is also just as practical as it is colorful — providing most amenities you’d expect, plus a few extra perks (daily yoga classes, free wifi, etc.), and is also located a mere 5 minutes from buzzing Downtown Palm Springs.

Did I mention that it is one of the stops of the “Buzz Bus“? A.k.a. free public transportation to the downtown strip of restaurants, bars, hotels, etc. Yes please! So smart, convenient, & such a luxury not to have to drive anywhere.

We stayed at The Saguaro over Valentine’s Day weekend, and had a wonderful time drinking piña coladas poolside, partaking in some serious people-watching, all the while surrounded by a picturesque Palm Springs backdrop.

Some highlights from our weekend: their poolside “Skinny Colada”; the hotel bar/restaurant El Jefe , which has delicious chicken street style tacos (happy hour Mon-Fri till 6pm!); and of course, the entire hotel’s interior and exterior decor.

The Saguaro is a Joie de Vivre hotel, and is an absolute gem in my book.
